Don’t underestimate the impact that you have on others, and more specifically, the next generation of women leaders.  Your encouragement could make more of a difference than you can imagine.

Wendy E. Fielding, MBA

Wendy E. Fielding, MBA, chief financial officer at Dartmouth Health’s Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics, was named a 2023 recipient of New Hampshire Business Review’s annual Outstanding Women in Business Awards. Fielding was one of nine women across various industries recognized at a celebration on May 3 for her success and achievements throughout New Hampshire’s diverse business community.

The Outstanding Women in Business Awards celebrate New Hampshire women who have truly excelled, not only in their professional lives but also as leaders and role models in their communities. While many of these women come from different industries and walks of life, they share several traits: a strong sense of self, a success-driven work ethic and the extraordinary accomplishments to show for it. Their commitment, vision and talents make them true leaders in their chosen fields.

Fielding joined Dartmouth Health in 2009 as vice president of financial planning, working closely with leadership to provide financial support for strategic decisions, most recently for significant expansion projects on the Lebanon and Manchester campuses. She was a 2019 Carol Emmott Fellow and supports women leaders to advance their healthcare careers and transform healthcare.

“I’m grateful to my Dartmouth Health colleagues for their ongoing support, with special thanks to Dan Jantzen for being a role model for leading with integrity,” said Fielding. “Don’t underestimate the impact that you have on others, and more specifically, the next generation of women leaders.  Your encouragement could make more of a difference than you can imagine.”
