New England Life Care (NELC), an in-home infusion therapy provider, elected Mary L. Bolg, vice president of operations for medical specialties and diagnostics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), to its board of directors in June. In addition to trustees, the NELC board of directors provides governance oversight and ensures strategic alignment between member hospital systems and NELC.
With over 30 years of healthcare experience, Bolg leads DHMC’s departments of medicine, radiology, pathology, emergency medicine, psychiatry, community and family medicine, Dartmouth Health Children’s, and the Digestive Center for Health.
NELC partners with not-for-profit member hospitals in northern New England to provide home infusion services in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts. Using a cooperative model, NELC acts as an extension of its members in the community to deliver patient-centered care. DHMC is one of 13 founding members of NELC, joining the cooperative model in 1993.
