After multiple medical centers were unable to help him, the skilled (and fellow lefty) hands of cardiologist, Hannah Chaudry, MD at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center succeeded. Chaudry deployed a stent into a blocked artery in his heart, allowing him to return to the pitcher's mound.
"I told him he should stay active and keep playing baseball," Chaudry told her patient. As WMUR Channel 9 sports director Mike Cronin would learn, that was music to Lee’s ears.
