New patients
General Internal Medicine provides a network of providers in New Hampshire and Vermont to meet your health needs.
If you don't already have a primary care provider:
- Find providers in the area most convenient for you
- Call our toll-free Find Primary Care Provider number. We can tell you which providers are accepting new patients, and who may be right for you and your family.
Please have your health plan insurance card available when you call. We recommend that you call us first before contacting your insurance company
At your first meeting, we will perform some testing and make an evaluation of your condition. Providers you see can include physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
Internal Medicine - Pediatrics
Internal Medicine - Pediatrics is the combination of Internal Medicine (primary care for adults) and Pediatrics (primary care for infants, children and adolescents).
To learn more and make an appointment, visit Internal Medicine - Pediatrics on the Dartmouth Health Children's website.
Shared medical appointments
For our patients, depending on the reason for your appointment, you may be scheduled for a shared medical appointment.
Shared medical appointments offer an interactive approach to health care that brings patients together who have common needs. For more information, see "Shared Medical Appointments" on the Scheduling Appointments page.
Returning patients
If you are a returning patient, you may use myDH to communicate securely with your providers, request or change appointments, review your medical record, and more.
