New patients
Medical infusion appointments are coordinated by your provider at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
To schedule an appointment in the Medical Infusion Clinic, your provider needs to submit a referral for infusion services. Once we receive a referral and an order for treatment, our secretary will call you within 24 hours to schedule your appointment.
If you are not currently under the care of a Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center provider and are interested in having your treatments in the Medical Infusion Clinic, please speak with your physician about a referral.
Cancellations
We understand that life gets busy and sometimes there are issues that we are not aware of that are difficult for our patients.
Because our schedules are quite full, we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment. This policy allows us to fit in other patients who are waiting to be seen. Your health is important to us and we want to be sure that you receive the care you need. If you no longer require infusion services from us, please let us know as soon as you are able.
Late arrivals
In order to honor the time of all of our patients, we ask that patients call as as soon as possible if they know they will arrive more than 20 minutes after their scheduled appointment time. If you arrive later than 20 minutes after your scheduled appointment time, we may need to reschedule the appointment.
For referring physicians
Contact the patient's specialty service provider to coordinate a plan of care. Once the plan of care is established the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center provider will submit a referral and an order to the Medical Infusion Clinic to schedule treatment. For more information about referrals, please see For Health Care Professionals.
