Greenbelt training is the most advanced, comprehensive level of process improvement training the Value Institute teaches. Greenbelt certification denotes an internationally recognized competency in process improvement tools and project execution.

Value Institute instructors will introduce students to the history of process improvement work globally and within the Dartmouth Health system, project management and team leadership, and the five DMAIC steps of process improvement: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control.

Students selected for the Spring 2025 Greenbelt Training will be immersed in a combination of didactic and application work over a span of 14 weeks. Students will be working toward their certification by completing the case study modules in between class sessions.
