Our Colon and Rectal Surgery team offers high-quality care for patients with disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus. We are part of a nationally recognized medical and academic center that provides state-of-the-art facilities, a complete range of open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, and a variety of support services for patients and their families. We are large enough to offer world-class care but small enough to know you as a person, not a case number.
Our programs and treatments include:
- Colon, Rectal, and Anal Cancer Program
- Surgery for inflammatory bowel disease
- Surgery for non-cancer colon and rectal conditions
- Treatment for anorectal disease
- Treatment for pelvic floor disorders
We provide treatment in a beautiful setting and caring environment, understanding that your comfort and well-being are as important to the healing process as the treatment itself.
Whether you have a diagnosis, need further testing, or have questions about your care, we are here to help. To request an appointment or for more information, please contact us.

Our multidisciplinary team
We collaborate with many providers at our medical center to ensure you receive complete and personalized care for your condition. By working together with experts throughout our medical center, our team creates an integrated treatment plan personalized for you.
You will meet some of us at your first visit. Your initial care team may include a surgeon, associate provider (nurse practitioner, physician assistant), nurse, resident, and medical student. Depending on your condition and treatment, your care team may expand to include one or more of the following experts:
- Dietitians
- Gastroenterologists
- Medical oncologists
- Pathologists
- Radiation oncologists
- Radiologists
- Urogynecologists
- Support services providers
- Wound ostomy care nurses
For patients with rectal cancer, your care is coordinated by a rectal cancer multidisciplinary team, which includes physicians specializing in colon and rectal surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, genetics, and radiology.
Our medical center is also an academic center, or teaching hospital. In addition to offering expert care for our patients, our doctors also educate residents and medical students in the fundamentals of colon and rectal surgery.
We take pride in giving you the best care possible.
