Mark Speers has been advising senior life sciences executives for 40 years. He co-founded Health Advances in 1992 after gaining 10 years of strategy consulting experience in the healthcare industry as a Partner at Bain & Company, an international management consulting firm.
At Health Advances, Speers is an advisor to clients evaluating the commercial potential and developing go-to-market strategies for new medical technologies and service businesses. He often offers expertise in mergers and acquisitions for strategic and financial buyers, having now supported more than $95 billion in client transactions.
Speers serves on the Board of Advisors at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He previously served on the Board of Directors of MassMEDIC, a leading industry association, for 6 years and he continues to be a strong advocate for the industry.
Speers graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in engineering sciences and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was honored as an Arjay Miller Scholar.
